A spiritual oil is very easy to make.
Start off with a base oil, or oils, such as sunflower oil, olive oil, jojoba oil, grapeseed oil, etc. Then, add fresh, or dried herbs, based upon the purpose/function you want the completed oil too have.
If you're doing a love working, use a lightly scented, or unscented oil like jojoba oil, and place crushed rose petals into it. You can add other herbs, and flowers in it as well for additional potency of the working. The more elements you add, the better. This is when you ask your spiritual family to let you know what you should put in for the particular thing you're working on. And remember, each time you do this work, the 'recipe' or 'formula' can change! Why? Because each situation has its own nuances.
The main thing with any spiritual oil is it must sit for several weeks for all of the elements to meld together. As it rests and cures, if you choose to, you can imbue your energies, and/or the energies of the spiritual family member you're working with into the oil.
A spiritual oil gets complicated when you have multiple elements to add, and those elements may not be readily found/available. And, creating your oils can be tricky if you are following a particular moon phase, or awaiting a particular alignment of astronomical bodies.
All of these factors go into the making of a spiritual oil. So, the actual making of it is simple. The other aspects take a little more thought. Once you know what you want to do, you have to ask your spiritual family, or research, and see when is the best time to make your particular spiritual oil.
Blessings to you on your path,
