Spirits of the North | New Afrocentric Ancestor Oracle Deck!

Today is an amazing day for me. Why? Because I received the Spirits of the North oracle deck birthed into this realm by Lady Z aka Dawning Dreamz (you may know of her because of her YouTube channel).

At this turbulent time in our world, to have an oracle deck that speaks to the very peoples that are directly experiencing grief, PTSD, trauma, and anxiety over too many reprehensible acts, is a game-changer.

The Spirits of the North oracle deck is a way to get in touch with African-centric ancestors, spirits, and other wise cultural figures in order to elevate the diviner's spiritual growth and evolution.

And, since this oracle deck is created by a Master Diviner, it is going to speak in ways no other oracle deck does, including cards that focus on and provide traditional African/diasporic solutions (ebbo, offerings to ancestor, ancestor worship added to one's day-to-day life, etc.).

No question was posed; I simply allowed the oracle to speak to me how it wanted. My response was:

The Shaman + Female Elder

My interpretation is:

The Eggun's (ancestors') message to me speaks of a Shaman that is around me guiding me back to natural remedies, healing through plants and herbs of the Earth. To take care and have patience as the learning and knowing will come in divine right timing. The Female Elder (Ancestor) coming right after The Shaman, speaks to me as the elder female medicine woman who has so much knowledge gained over her lifetime and of the knowledge of her mother, and her mother's mother. She is coming forward to share her wisdom with me as I am now open to hearing and following the ways of those who have come before me.

A powerful reading! Maferefun Eggun! I give thanks for this enormous gift to us all of guidance, love and enlightenment. Ase oo!
